Who joins Iod law?

Legal advisors come to us for many different reasons – flexible work hours, variety of work, a modern and smart way of working – they just want a change. What they all share is a desire for high quality work coupled with a degree of control that traditional models can’t offer.

Our clients want legal advisors who can work seamlessly with their organization, adding value from the start, so we look for adaptable self-starters.

We’re open minded about the route you might have taken to your current position, and are happy to hear from people qualified in any law jurisdiction.

What experience do I need?

All our legal advisors have worked at law firms or as part of in-house teams. They have experience across a wide range of legal disciplines.

Most have more than four years’ experience but we’re happy to consider more junior levels if you can show professional maturity and a commitment to working independently.

What’s the process?

1. Apply – Send us your CV. If there’s a good fit with Iod, we’ll interview you.
   
   
2. Agree on terms – If successful, we’ll agree terms, arrange your introduction process and discuss your preferences for how, where and when you work.
   
   
3. Find your first assignment – Your dedicated Iod contact will work closely with you to find the right first assignment for you.
   
   
4. Feedback – We monitor each assignment carefully, getting feedback from both you and the client to make sure it goes as well as possible.
   
   
5. Keep in touch – As part of the Iod team, we keep regular contact with you and invite you to socials, events and training.
